Plenary Council 2019

The Plenary Council will take place at Lourdel House, Kampala, Uganda, from 15 November to 3 December 2019 (arrival 14 November) (C&L 240 and 241). This Council will be followed on 8 December by the solemn closing of the Jubilee Year.

“To prepare this Council and ensure its objectives (C&L 240, 3), the Provincials and Section Superiors will organize a consultation of the confreres (C&L 242). To this end, they find attached a document which I ask them to send to all the confreres, inviting them to answer – preferably in community – the ten proposed questions. They will determine, in a restricted Council or in a provincial team, the procedure for the feedback of the responses of the communities and confreres so that a synthesis of the responses of each Province and Section reaches the Secretary General in Rome no later than Friday, 27 September 2019 (C&L 242). ” (excerpt from the letter of invitation)
