30th anniversary of the death of Blessed Charles Deckers in Tizi Ouzou in Algeria

Homily by Mons Luc Terlinden, Archbishop of Malines-Brussels, delivered on 15 December 2024, during the celebration of the Eucharist in the church of Notre Dame de la Cambre in Ixelles in memory of the one hundredth anniversary of the birth of Blessed Charles Deckers, M.Afr., and the 30th anniversary of his death in Tizi Ouzou in Algeria. Sitting on a Well full of Water but Being Deprived of Drinking from it

The world of social injustice can be best described with a scenario where a man who is dying of thirst is comfortably sitting on a well, filled with pure water, but who is being blocked deliberately by a super force from drinking this water.

Episcopal Ordination of Bishop Francis Bomansaan

On the 2nd of August 2024, the faithful of the Catholic Diocese of Wa, had the joy of witnessing a very rare ceremony, the Episcopal Ordination of their new Shepherd, Bishop Francis Bomansaan. This ceremony quenched their thirst for a leader, since the death of late Bishop, Cardinal Richard Baawobr, M.Afr. on the 27th of November 2022.

Farewell to Francis Bomaansan, new Bishop-elect of Wa, Ghana

Today, 27th June 2024, we said our goodbyes to our confrere Francis Bomansaan, recently appointed Bishop of Wa, in Ghana. This Eucharist, concelebrated with the Superior General Stanley Lubungo, was Francis’ expression of thanksgiving for each confrere of the Generalate.
